Flinders Ranges A Brush With Art started in 2004 with an art trail designed to link galleries already showing works and has since become the regions’ premier art event, enjoying steady growth each year.
A Brush with Art is the only event of its kind held in the Flinders Ranges region and is anticipated in the annual Spring calendar, when the weather is warm, the wattles and wildflowers are blooming and the days are longer.
There are a few ways to get involved in A Brush With Art: become a member; register as an artist, gallery or venue; host a workshop; help us promote the event; or join us as a sponsor.
Sponsorship is important to help grow the event and deliver an even better experience for visitors across the Flinders Ranges region, however, it also provides a valuable opportunity to engage with new and regional markets while building goodwill and brand awareness within communities.
Our marketing activities aim to draw people to the region specifically for the event, and also attract those travelling along the Explorers Way and National Highway, encouraging them to stop in our towns, extend their stay and contribute to the visitor economy.

Membership can be cost shared amongst a group of artists and host venue, however only one representative should be nominated to attend general meetings
The Flinders Ranges A Brush With Art acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country across the region and recognise their deep connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
