"WATERCOLOUR – MAKING A SPLASH”
Don’t be afraid to jump in and have a go! There is nothing quite like watercolour to create a sense of excitement and artistic abandon. From fine brushwork to seemingly uncontrollable floods of colour, mixing and moving across the paper; there is something to inspire your unique, creative imagination. All skill levels including beginners are welcome. 2 – 3 days recommended.

Time: 10am – 4pm
New students - $210 for 3 days or $75 per day
Past students - $180 for 3 days or $65 per day

"SOLAR PAINTING ON MATERIALS"
Venue: Platform Art Gallery, Port Augusta
Date: Sunday 30th September
Time: 10am - 4pm
Participants will learn how to use solar paints to create their own coloured materials for use with textile art or quilting. Material is painted and blocking items (eg. buttons or leaves) placed on top with salt crystals to draw paint then placed in the sun to set.
Materials Provided: Pabeo Setacolour paints, 2m print ready calico, brushes, trays and varieties of items for use.
Participants need: older clothes and/or apron (solar paints set), items to block out sunlight - large buttons, flattened leaves (especially fern leaves)

"PAPIER MACHE / WIREWORKS - WORKSHOPS”
Organised by Peterborough Festival Inc.
Venue: Railway Goods Shed, Main Street, Peterborough
(Opposite Railway Hotel and 229 on Main Cafe)
Dates: Sunday and Monday weekly, 11am – 5pm (During Brush with Art Exhibition Dates)
Cost: Full Day Workshop
$20 per Adult (16 yrs. and over)
$10 per Junior (5-15 yrs)*
$50 per Family (husband and wife/partner & children under 16)
+ plus materials used - chicken wire is available for purchase in the shed, or BYO
*Juniors must be supervised at all times by an adult, who is not required to pay the workshop fee unless making a project for themselves.
